Revenue Cycle Manager / Physician Services / FT
Under the direction of the Vice President of Physician Services, the Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for the managing Revenue Cycle process from start to finish. Will be responsible for the activities of Front Office, Billing, and Collections for Physician Services. This position will supervise the Collector position and charge entry staff. Coordinates Revenue Cycle operations of Physician Services with other hospital units and medical staff. Interprets policies and recommends policy changes to the VP of Physician Services. Indirectly responsible for the Pending claims (DNFB) and performance of the Billing functions. Audits and analyses physician documentation and coding for compliance and completion. Manages eClinicalWorks EMR, Meaningful Use, PQRS, MIPS, and other advanced payment model compliance. Manages multiple clinics/physician offices communication with VP on a day-to-day basis. The Revenue Cycle Manager will assist with physician credentialing requirements of major carriers to ensure timely payment to hospital.
Bachelor’s Degree or ten years’ experience in the physician practice management field. Understanding of physician billing and accounts receivable functions and third party payors requirements. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with various levels of hospital staff. Must have a thorough knowledge of day-to-day physician practice routines as well as office equipment and computer related programs including physician billing programs, spreadsheets, databases and word documents.
