Unassigned Rounding Nurse / Utilization Review / PRN
Under the general direction of the Director, serves as a rounding nurse to facilitate the transition of patients throughout a variety of care settings. Acts as a scribe for the unassigned call physician group for the unassigned patients. Provides clinically-based management , discharge planning and care coordination to facilitate the delivery of cost effective quality healthcare and assist in the identification of appropriate utilization of resources across the continuum of care.
Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited school of nursing with a state license to practice professional nursing in Kentucky. BSN preferred. Prefer a minimum of five (5) years clinical nursing practice in a hospital setting. Discharge planning preferred. Previous UR/UM experience preferred. Case Management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and regulations.
